It’s like going into a museum and finding a painting that someone else has painted, taking picture of a small of part of that painting, putting it on Tumblr and getting pissed when someone copied that picture that you copied from that painting. YOU didn’t paint that painting, YOU don’t own it, all you did was cut a part of it out and post it to the internet.  SO NO I don’t feel guilty for reposting your tv show or movie gifs.

For instance, I posted this cake photo,

I  made this, and it has over 20,000 notes. The source has been changed, and I’m sure that it has been copied and posted like 10 times. But do you see me over here complaining? I knew before posting it that this would happen, but I posted it because I thought it was funny and Tumblr would enjoy it. If you get really upset when you see your gif that you posted on the Tumblr that you aren’t the source of you should probably rethink posting on here, or posting anything on the internet for that matter.
